Mike Hunt Posted May 14, 2021 Share Posted May 14, 2021 Citroen c2 vts front left clunk noise when accelarating or braking, if i brake the first time it clunks but then the seccond time it doesnt clunk but then when i accelarate it clunks again and if i accelarate again it doesnt clunk what could it be? paul.h Posted June 12, 2021 Share Posted June 12, 2021 The torsion bar drop links can make this noise and fortunately they do not cost much. To check them it needs one end undoing and then any play can easily be seen in the joints. Other possibilities can include wear in a shock absorber/its mounting/ wear in the brake pads or caliper/other suspension joint wear. If you have a MOT due this ought to find the fault.
