Your car looks good. Lincoln cathedral makes a good background as well.
Our first C5 was a 2004 2.2 hdi hatchback and it served us well. A common problem on this engine is the ball joint plastic cup on the flap actuator (called a diaphragm) at the gearbox end of the cylinder head can break. When I had to replace one the actuator was only about £20 from a dealer about 10 years ago. It is possible to just swap the plastic cup without replacing all the actuator to save time.

Yes thanks Paul, Sadly there is quite a bit of laquer blistering so I'll be busy with the wet'n'dry and re-coating but it is ok from a distance. Good spot re the cathedral!! I had the same actuator problem on my previous 2.2 estate about 8 years ago so I'm with you on that one!
