aspire_helen Posted April 9, 2021 Share Posted April 9, 2021 During lockdown I finally got around to repairing a little niggle with the drivers folding door mirror. Whenever it folded closed it would not stop until it hit the glass with an audible clunk. On dismantling the housing I found that a plastic tab had broken off which acted as the limiting stop. I repaired it by fashioning an aluminium plate to replace the tab and fixed it with epoxy. The mirror now stops just short of the glass as it should. See before and after photos.
