I've picked up a genuine Citroen USB BOX unit, from a dealer and found that they only supply them for the RD4 unit. My C5 is literally just before the Mk2 came out, and has the Clarion RD3 unit.
Now - having explored this thoroughly I've come to the conclusion that the PSA unit is in fact the Dension Gateway 300 unit (http://www.dension.c...kgateway300.php) which they do supply for the RD3. Contacted Dension and it's UK suppliers, and they will not supply the lead for the RD3 unit seperately
In saying this though, I am going to pop the Stereo tonight, just to see if it does/doesn't fit. Though from the Pics I've seen, the changer plug on the back of an RD3 unit is different.
Therefore, does anyone know the pin-out for the RD4 changer unit, versus the pin-out for RD3 changer socket? I'm sure I can pick up a plug to connect into the back and modify the cable to fit (if anyone can point me in the direction of a supplier, otherwise off down to Maplin).
Failing that. If anyone is prepared to pay me £80 (no offers, I'm making a loss at this price) for a genuine, never been used PSA unit - they can contact me and buy it off me!
If anyone has made the connection for a USB BOX to RD3 would be glad to be pointed to a How-To, but couldn't find anything on my googles, and looks through this forum.
